Parking

At the Bishop Auckland surgery, we have a car park with spaces available to clients when they are visiting the surgery. We also offer two dedicated disabled parking spaces to the rear of the building, as close as possible to the entrance with an easy access ramp.

General Hours

The Bishop Auckland surgery is open 7 days a week at the times shown below. If you wish to speak to the office staff, make an appointment, or have a non-emergency question for one of the vets please call during these hours.

Out of Hours

In an emergency outside of normal office hours please telephone the usual number and you will be put through to the duty nurse at the Bishop Auckland branch. Please allow the nurse time to answer as she will also be looking after the in patients and may not be able to get to the telephone immediately.

Seasonal Variations

The surgery is closed only on Christmas Day and New Years Day. All other bank holidays will have emergency surgeries when the reception will be open usually from 9am - 11am and 3pm - 5pm. These hours may vary so please telephone prior to coming down and are run only at Bishop Auckland. We are open Easter Saturday and Sunday as normal, but only available Good Friday and Easter Monday for emergencies as above. An emergency vet is available whenever the surgery is closed.
